Ambitious by nature, Rae is known across the globe by her discerning clientele for transforming living environments into elegantly edited expressions. Her design aesthetic and attention to detail give the ability to distil the elements of a space and infuse depth in the way interiors are experienced. Her hallmark is a concierge-level of service ensuring that each Ray Norris Design project is immaculately conceived, detailed and constructed.
Rae's academic training and extensive background in Accounting and Acquisition Management provide an unparalleled perspective on the full breadth of a client's needs. Rae holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture & Design from the Academy of Art University. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and a board member of the Benjamin Moore Design Advisory Board (DAB). For three consecutive years, Pink Eggshell/Black Interior Designers Network has honored her as one of the nation's Top 20 African American Interior Designers. A firm believer in the transformative ability of design can play in one's life, Rae launched the Ray Norris Design Foundation in early 2015 dedicated to the betterment of design students globally.
On rare occasions when Rae isn't designing, she enjoys admiring architecture, volunteering, being an art aficionado and spoiling her Dapple Dachshund - Matteo.
